For Rain Or Shine, a slumping San Miguel Beer is a dangerous team.

The two teams collide in the PBA Governors' Cup at Araneta Coliseum on Wednesday, with Rain Or Shine looking to fortify its bid for a place in the top 2 and San Miguel determined to avoid dropping further down the standings.

That game is at 7 p.m., following the TNT-Meralco face-off at 4:15 p.m.

Rain Or Shine (4-2) is a game ahead of San Miguel (3-3). Despite the Beermen having a so-so campaign, it doesn't mean the Elasto Painters can afford to relax.

"We can't be complacent only because San Miguel lost two straight games," Garcia said in a report on the PBA website.

"They are still the team to beat this conference. Their import would have already adjusted so we are expecting that he would play better this time around and we just have to be ready."

San Miguel coach Leo Austria is hoping that Terik Bridgeman, the replacement for Wendell McKines whom Garcia was referring to, will perform better this time after a forgettable debut in their loss to Alaska over the weekend.

In the first game, TNT (4-3), is expected to face a tough challenge against Meralco, which is just behind league-leading Barangay Ginebra with a 5-1 record.
