Amateur boxer Jimuel Pacquiao tasted his first defeat after he was outpointed by a fighter from Cavite in Quezon City Tuesday.
Pacquiao, 18, lost to Ken Danila of Imus city in their 3-rounder at Johnny Bravo Boxing Gym, reportedly a split-decision result.
Pacquiao tried to unload his right cross against Danila, but the latter got the upper hand with his own right straights whenever Pacquiao failed to connect his looping left.
Prior to the loss, Pacquiao, who wants to follow in his world champion father's footsteps, had victories registered against Lucas Carson, Miguel Egan and Darel Marquez.
