Motolite rediscovered its competitive form that was missing in its debut as the squad barged in the win column with a 25-22, 25-19, 25-19, drubbing of debuting Chef’s Classics on Saturday in the Premier Volleyball League Season 3 Open Conference at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Passing the ball better than in its straight sets loss to defending champion Creamline last Wednesday, setter Iris Tolenada steered Motolite on the right direction for a 1-1 win-loss record.
Myla Pablo paced Motolite with game-high 20 points with 17 coming off attacks. Tots Carlos added nine markers while Tolenada tallied 15 of Motolite’s 25 excellent sets to erase the squad’s embarrassing total of four dishes the last time out.
