A late goal from Hariss Harun spelled the difference as Pinoy football club Ceres Negros FC fell to Singaporean club Home United, 2-1, Wednesday evening at the Jalan Besar Stadium in Singapore.

Croatian striker Stipe Plazibat opened the action for the home team, scoring on an eleventh minute penalty.

Martin Steuble helped the visiting Pinoy side pull even just before halftime, scoring from way outside.

With around seven minutes left in regulation, Harun broke the deadlock to give the home team an edge in the Zonal Finals.

Ceres Negros gets the chance to bounce back on their home pitch on Wednesday when the battle shifts to the Panaad Park and Stadium for the second leg of the Zonal Finals.
