Denver's All-Star center Nikola Jokic has cleared the quarantine protocols and joined the Nuggets at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida.
The Nuggets announced his arrival on Twitter.
Jokic had tested positive for the novel coronavirus while in Serbia last June, and had to "produce several negative tests" before he could join the Nuggets, according to NBA.com.
The New York Times reported that Jokic arrived at the Disney World campus last Saturday but was quarantined.
A two-time All-Star, Jokic was averaging 20.2 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 6.9 assists for the Nuggets before NBA games were halted last March because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Nuggets have a 43-22 record, third in the Western Conference behind the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Clippers.
