Roi Sumang scored 19 points, and Blackwater hit timely 3-pointers in overtime to beat Magnolia 104-99 in the 2019 PBA Commissioner's Cup at Mall of Asia Arena on Friday.

Blackwater raised its record to 6-3 after a 2-game slide, while Magnolia, which entered the game with a 5-game winning streak, slid to 5-3.

The result assured idle NorthPort (8-2) a twice-to-beat advantage in the playoffs.

Sumang accounted for 10 points in the extension, and Ray Parks Jr. buried a clutch 3-pointer for Blackwater to make it 99-93 with 47 seconds to go.

Parks, who had an off night with 11 points (2 of 12 from the field), missed the potential game-winner in regulation, but made up for it with the pull-up dagger from downtown in overtime.

Staphon Blair contributed 14 points, 14 rebounds and 5 blocks.

Paul Lee finished with 25 points and 4 3-pointers to lead Magnolia.
