Mixed martial arts champion Aung La N Sang said he has caught COVID-19 and is now undergoing quarantine with his family in the United States.
The 2-division ONE titlist revealed the development on Instagram.
"Dear family and friends, I got tested for covid-19 on Monday and the result came back today and I am positive," he said. "So my family and I will be quarantining ourselves for the next 14 days."
Aung La, a Florida-based Burmese, said he experienced COVID-19 symptoms for 2 days.
"I had a slight fever, congestion, body ache and fatigue on the first two days. Besides that, I am blessed that my whole family is doing well. We are really in this together and we will get over this," he said.
The last time Aung La fought in ONE Championship was in October, when he defended one of his titles against Filipino champion Brandon Vera.
He knocked out Vera in 2 rounds to retain the ONE light heavyweight crown.
