MANILA -- Nico Elorde sank all of his 4 triples in the fourth quarter, while Robert Bolick got himself favored via technicality to help NorthPort escape with a 110-108 victory against Columbian Dyip on Wednesday's PBA Commissioner's Cup at Araneta Coliseum.
It was a tight game between two squads but the Batang Pier was able to eke out their eighth win, thanks to Elorde and Bolick.
Despite CJ Perez's solid game for the Dyip, Elorde was able to keep NorthPort afloat with his triples.
But in the final 2 seconds when the game was tied 108-all, Bolick went for a layup that got counted after Columbian's Lester Prosper accidentally touched the rim during the shot.
Eric Camson tried to steal the game for the Dyip, but he failed to connect, allowing NorthPort to pocket the victory.
Elorde finished with 14 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals.
