MANILA, Philippines -- Choco Mucho confirmed on Sunday that they have signed setter Deanna Wong and Caitlyn Viray to their club.
The pair joined a squad that finished seventh in its debut campaign, having joined the Premier Volleyball League during the 2019 Open Conference.
Wong played collegiate volleyball for Ateneo de Manila University and was the UAAP's Best Setter in Season 80. She helped the Lady Eagles win the women's volleyball championship in Season 81.
The versatile Viray played for University of Santo Tomas, seeing action in both the opposite and middle blocker positions. Before signing for the Flying Titans, Viray played for Marinerang Pilipinas in the Philippine Superliga.
It remains to be seen when the pair will make their debuts for Choco Mucho, as the PVL's new season has been postponed because of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
