Defending champion Creamline built great momentum heading into the semifinals after closing the elimination round with a 9-game winning streak by beating winless BaliPure, 25-19, 25-15, 25-18, on Saturday in the Premier Volleyball League Season 3 Reinforced Conference at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

Birthday-girl Alyssa Valdez played an inspired game with a throng of Cool Smashers supporters cheering her on, as Creamline finished the preliminaries with a 9-1 win-loss record.

The Cool Smashers are still waiting for the result of the match between PetroGazz (8-1) and Motolite (3-6) to determine their seeding in the Final Four. PacificTown Army holds the no. 3 seed in the Final Four.
