UAAP high-flyers go head-to-head in first ever dunk-off 1

MANILA, Philippines -- Three of the UAAP's finest high-flyers will go head-to-head in a unique slam dunk contest that will be streamed live on the ABS-CBN Sports Facebook and Instagram accounts on Saturday afternoon.

Ready to flaunt their hops and creativity for fun and bragging rights are Juan Gomez de Liano of University of the Philippines, Thirdy Ravena of the Ateneo de Manila University, and Jamie Malonzo of De La Salle University.

"Home Jam: Dunkers Only" will see Ravena, Gomez de Liano, and Malonzo deliver three rounds of dunks from their respective locations.

The winner of the dunk-off will be decided by judges Kobe Paras, the 2013 and 2015 FIBA 3x3 Under-18 World Championship dunk champion; and former NCAA champion and NorthPort point guard Robert Bolick.

National University captain Shaun Ildefonso, who hosts the ABS-CBN Sports digital show "SRSLY," will call the competition.

The "Home Jam" series will feature other basketball events, such as three-point shootouts and skills challenges featuring other famous athletes. Participants will be chosen based on their abilities and access to a basketball court, in compliance with the guidelines on the community quarantine.
