Zamar newest addition to Ginebra staff

MANILA, Philippines – Allan Caidic and Juno Sauler will be moving out of Ginebra’s coaching staff to work full time with the De La Salle University (DLSU) Green Archers, according to an online report.

The coaching shuffle will also see Boycie Zamar’s movement to Ginebra as one of Alfrancis Chua’s assistant coaches, according to Snow Badua’s report.

The rotation is part of San Miguel Corp.’s (SMC) reported “rigodon” among coaching staffers in three of its PBA franchises.

Barangay Ginebra, San Mig Coffee and Petron Blaze all belong under the SMC umbrella.

Zamar, who was earlier reported to be recruited to join San Mig Coffee, recently led University of the East (UE) to the 2013 Filoil Flying V Hanes Preseason Championship.

Caidic, meanwhile, will be serving as Sauler’s assistant in DLSU.

Sauler was earlier appointed as the new coach for the Green Archers after Petron Blaze recalled Gee Abanilla to rejoin the Boosters’ coaching staff.

Abanilla is rumored to be taking over Olsen Racela’s post as head coach of Petron.
