PSC Chairman Butch Ramirez and POC President Bambol Tolentino will discuss the state of Philippine sports on the PSA Forum. Handout.

MANILA, Philippines - The weekly Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Forum returns on June 2 after a four-month break, under a new platform.

The Tuesday session will have two of the country's top sports officials in Philippine Sports Commission Chairman William "Butch" Ramirez, and Philippine Olympic Committee President Abraham "Bambol" Tolentino.

They will discuss the current and future of Philippine sports amid the global novel coronavirus pandemic.

The 10:00 a.m. forum will be held via Zoom video conferencing -- a first in the more than 70 years of the PSA -- in observance of the safety protocols and to help curb the spread of COVID-19.

The program will be shown live via the PSA Facebook page.

The session is still presented by San Miguel Corp., Amelie Hotel, Braska Restaurant, the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), and powered by Smart.
