After applying some tweaks to his diet, reigning world junior bantamweight Jerwin Ancajas feels comfortable staying in the 115-pound division.

The Panabo city, Davao del Norte, native had considered moving up in weight but, thanks to nutritionist Jeaneth Aro, Ancajas hit his target at the scales minus the cramps and weakening usually associated with weight reduction.

The extra energy came in handy during his mandatory title defense against Ryuichi Funai earlier this month, as he stopped the Japanese challenger in 7 rounds for his first stoppage win in 3 fights.

Now, Ancajas is looking to unify titles.

Besides Ancajas, the reigning International Boxing Federation champion, other 115-pound titlists include World Boxing Council champion Juan Francisco Estrada and World Boxing Association king Khalid Yafai.

However, the final say, he said will still come from his promoter and matchmaker.
