MANILA, Philippines – Continuing his journey of using basketball as a tool to teach discipline and comradery, Ateneo de Manila University head coach Tab Baldwin is opening a basketball clinic for young aspirants.
Baldwin has set several goals for his summer camp this year. He wants to help develop the aspirants' basketball IQ and skill set but more importantly, the camp wants to impart the values of self-confidence and love for the game.
"We want the participants to enjoy the game of basketball by focusing on the skill, the effort, and the attitude. That is what builds 'The Player'," Baldwin said in a statement.
"With this, we are hoping that this attitude will carry over to every task they have to accomplish in life," he added.
The four-day camp is open to boys and girls from ages 8-16. It will take place on May 14, 16, 17, and 18 at the Ateneo High School Covered Courts.
