Just when F2 Logistics thought that it already had the title in the bag after a strong start, archrival and defending champion Petron revved up in the next three sets to even the 2019 Philippine Superliga best-of-three finals to pave the way for an explosive winner-take-all.

Americans Stephanie Niemer and Kat Bell terrorized the Cargo Movers' defense with their power hits while getting significant local support to carve out a 23-25, 25-23, 25-14, 25-19 win in Game 2 on Thursday at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

Bell hammered 23 of her 25 points on attacks and added 24 digs while Niemer added 23 markers with all but one coming off kills laced with 20 digs for the Blaze Spikers.

Mika Reyes had 13 points built on seven spikes, four kill blocks and two aces while Aiza Maizo-Pontillas had seven markers.

Petron and F2 Logistics battle for all the marbles in Game 3 set on Saturday, May 4.
