GlobalPort center Mo Tautuaa was slapped a 1-game suspension on top of a P35,000 fine for his actions against TNT import Jeremy Tyler last Sunday.
The Batang Pier lost to the KaTropa, 128-114, but not before Tautuaa kicked Tyler in the face during the emotionally charged game.
Tautuaa was also caught mouthing “obscene language” after his run-in with Tyler.
As a result, PBA commissioner Willie Marcial summoned Tautuaa to the league office on Thursday, according to Spin.
Marcial also wanted to talk to TNT’s Terrence Romeo for complaining about the referees’ calls while talking to the media. Romeo was cited for two dribbling violations late in the game.
Romeo reportedly did not appear at the league office on Thursday to tend to a “personal matter.”
