MANILA, Philippines -- The Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters are doing their part in the country's battle against the novel coronavirus pandemic.
On Wednesday, the team donated relief goods and personal protective equipment (PPEs) to San Juan. Forward Calvin Abueva, team governor Atty. Raymond Zorrilla, and team manager Paolo Bugia personally turned the relief goods over to Mayor Francis Zamora.
The players bought the relief goods and the PPEs out of their own pocket as they set aside a portion of their salaries.
The team is also set to deliver PPEs to Pasig City.
