MANILA, Philippines -- Boxing icon Manny Pacquiao is guaranteed to get at least USD 80 million for fighting Floyd Mayweather Jr.
When he wears his boxing trunks, he stands to get $2.25 million more.
His business manager Eric Pineda said top Philippine companies are paying to have their logos sewn on Pacquiao's boxing shorts.
"So far, we have six (companies) that will have their logos on Manny's trunks," said Pineda in World Boxing News.
"The rate for this fight is different from the previous [fights]," he added.
The business manager, however, did not reveal the names of the companies.
The mega bout, which is expected to break pay-per-view records, is projected to earn at least $300 million.
Tickets for the fight taking place at the MGM Grand Arena in las Vegas are priced at $1,500, $2,500, $3,500, $5,000 and $7,500.
Ringside tickets, which are reserved for the high rollers, cost $10,000 each.
Each pay-per-view is priced at $100, while the closed-circuit viewing fetches at $150 each.
The unbeaten Mayweather, who is seeking his 48th-straight victory, is guaranteed a $120-million paycheck.
