Former world champion Danny Garcia insisted he stands to be the perfect option for Manny Pacquiao's next fight.
Garcia claimed that if Pacquiao wants the most lucrative fight available then he should be picked over Errol Spence and Mikey Garcia.
“I think that’ll be, you know, the biggest fight that Manny, you know, if he wants the big money and he wants the pay-per-view buys, I feel like I’m the perfect guy to fight, who’s gonna meet that, you know,” Garcia told Boxing Scene.
But Garcia acknowledged that the ball is in Pacquiao's court.
“I thought it was gonna happen in the summertime, but he fought (Keith) Thurman. And it is what it is. But I’m here. You know, if the legend wants to fight, let’s get it on,” said Garcia.
The last time Pacquiao fought was when he dominated Thurman in July last year to take the WBA "super" welterweight crown.
The Filipino champion plans to return to the ring sometime in July.
Garcia owns an impressive 36-2 win-loss record and only lost to Thurman and Shawn Porter in his 12-year, 38-fight pro career.
