Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao hosted his traditional "Temptation Night" for the contestants of his weight-loss challenge during training camp on Saturday night in Los Angeles.

Pacquiao had a veritable feast prepared, including lechong kambing, kalderetang kambing, fried chicken, and pancit for the 156 people who participated in the competition.

The contestants went on a diet for a month. Those who lost 15% of their weight won $2,000, while the "biggest loser" won $10,000. Pacquiao also gave $5,000 to the second placer and $3,000 to the third placer.

The contestants also had to memorize three different Bible verses.

More than a hundred of the 156 contestants gave in to temptation and passed a line that meant that they were giving up on the weight loss diet.

But those who passed the "quitter's line" did receive consolation prizes. Along with their plates for the Temptation Night, they also got envelopes which contained prizes of either $100 or $300.

The final weigh-in for Pacquiao's weight loss challenge is on April 19. -- Report from Dyan Castillejo, ABS-CBN News.
