MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Girls’ football team defeated Mozambique to make it to the finals of the Street Child World Cup in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The Filipinas had it 1-nil against Mozambique to arrange a titular showdown against Brazil at the Fluminense FC Stadium.

"A very tough game, only goal scored by Ronalyn of Payatas FC. And tomorrow we'll be playing in Fluminense FC's Stadium! What a moment!" said the team management in the squad’s Facebook account.

The girls earlier crushed England, 6-0, to advance to the semis.
