People were forced to wait at Resorts World for more than 8 hours on Tuesday only to find out that Floyd Mayweather Jr. won't be coming.
The former pound-for-pound king was supposed to face the media in a press conference scheduled at 3 p.m., but he did not show up, without any reason given.
Mayweather hopped off his private jet on Tuesday afternoon and went for a short vacation in Boracay.
He returned to Manila for a press conference with Belo Medical Group.
Mayweather had one final commitment at Resorts World.
This is the second time that Mayweather visited the country; he also went to the Philippines in May 2018.
ABS-CBN's Gretchen Ho was among those who patiently waited for Mayweather to show up.
They had to wait for 8 hours before the Resorts World PR informed them that Mayweather won't be around.
