Tempers flared between Alab Pilipinas and Formosa in their ASEAN Basketball League (ABL) game on Sunday in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
The Dreamers owned a comfortable 79-65 lead with 2:30 to go when Josh Urbiztondo stepped up to Malcolm Miller after a rebounding play. Caelan Tiongson got involved, and the shoving match spilled into the stands before the players were pulled apart.
Urbiztondo was assessed with a technical foul, while both Miller and Tiongson got disqualifying fouls.
Alab lost, 88-74, to fall to 18-7 in the season. It was their third straight loss of the season, moving them from the top spot in the standings.
