LA Tenorio played the longest game of his career on Friday night when Barangay Ginebra gutted out a 100-92 win in a grueling triple overtime battle against Rain Or Shine.

“Tinyente” was on the floor for almost 57 minutes (56:52), aiding the Gin Kings by running the plays and scoring a total of 20 points to go with his 6 rebounds, 2 steals, and an assist.

He ended up becoming the fourth PBA player to log the most minutes in a game after Kerby Raymundo (61), Jun Limpot (60), and Sonny Jaworski (58).

“Obviously, tao lang din, napapagod din talaga sa game, but bottomline is kapag kailangan talagang manalo, you don’t have any choice,” he said in an interview posted on Spin.ph.

The former Ateneo standout has been one of the most consistent in the league, playing for the 543rd consecutive time on Friday, just second behind Alvin Patrimonio's all-time record of 596 straight games.

He has never missed a game since joining the PBA.

"With my age right now, 33, my mileage, not missing a single game, it's truly a blessing for me," Tenorio in a separate report by the PBA website.
