MANILA, Philippines – Ateneo head coach Tab Baldwin is currently recovering after being rushed to a hospital on Friday evening.

It was reported that Baldwin was taken to the Cardinal Santos Medical Center after feeling weak during the Blue Eagles' practice at the Moro Lorenzo Sports Center.

"He is recovering," Ateneo team manager Epok Quimpo said in a message to ABS-CBN News on Sunday.

"He has been (under) a lot of stress," he added.

Aside from coaching the Blue Eagles, Baldwin also serves as the program director for Gilas Pilipinas and an assistant coach in TNT KaTropa.

The burden of taking on three difficult jobs at the same time clearly had an effect on the 61-year-old coach, as Quimpo previously said that the diagnosis was "over fatigue."

"For now, any form of stress will not help his recovery," Quimpo said.

Baldwin has steered the Blue Eagles to three straight UAAP championships, and also helped in training the Philippine national team ahead of its FIBA Asia Cup qualifier against Indonesia last month.
