Beau Belga scored 19 points in an all-around performance, as Rain Or Shine sank San Miguel Beer 95-80 at Mall of Asia Arena on Wednesday to advance to the quarterfinals of the PBA Philippine Cup.

Trailing 62-60 after 3 quarters, Rain Or Shine went on a 14-4 run to start the fourth quarter to take the driver's seat, 74-66.

Ahead 74-70, the Elasto Painters broke the game wide open with 3 consecutive 3-pointers courtesy of Don Trollano and a pair by Jewel Ponferada.

The win raised Rain Or Shine's record to 6-4 with a game in hand, while San Miguel Beer dropped to 8-3 tying Magnolia in the standings but still remaining the top seed heading into the playoffs.

Belga was 7 of 14 from the field, including 3 3-pointers to go with 7 rebounds and 5 steals. Ponferada was 6 of 9 from the floor while sinking 5 triples.

Maverick Ahanmisi added 11 rebounds and 7 assists, both game-highs.

Getting the green light to let it fly from downtown, Rain Or Shine hoisted 46 3-point attempts, making 17 of them for a decent 36.9% clip.

The 46 tries are nearly half the total field-goal attempts (99) the Elasto Painters took, and 21 more than San Miguel Beer's.
