Pinoy MMA fighter Jeremy Miado said he holds no ill will toward his opponents, including Thai legend Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke whom he will battle in a rematch Friday.

In their first encounter in March 2018, Miado scored a scintillating first-round knockout of the Thai superstar. But Miado said he holds high respect for the former ONE strawweight champion.

“I have great respect for him, because when I was starting, I was looking up to him,” he said.

“No matter which martial artist I go up against, whether he’s better than me or not, I should respect him as a martial artist.”

This is why he wants to fight Dejdamrong to the best of his ability because he believes the Thai superstar deserves nothing less.

“It is a huge honor for me to be able to be on the opposite side of the cage (ring) competing against him. That’s why I want to do my best in our match,” said Miado.

Miado will take on Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke on Friday in ONE: Call to Greatness at the the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
