MANILA, Philippines – Celebrated import Justin Brownlee is set to return to Alab Pilipinas to shore up its campaign in the ASEAN Basketball League.
Alab team owner Charlie Dy confirmed the development to ABS-CBN News.
"Yes, finally," Dy said.
This is Brownlee's second stint for Alab Pilipinas, after helping them win the league championship in 2018 together with Renaldo Balkman and Ray Parks Jr.
Brownlee replaces Prince Williams for Alab Pilipinas, and joins forces with Sam Deguara and Nick King as their imports for the tournament.
Brownlee is coming off another impressive stint for Barangay Ginebra in the 2019 PBA Governors' Cup, wherein he led the Gin Kings to the crown.
Alab Pilipinas currently has a 9-5 win-loss record, just behind Mono Vampire (10-4).
