Alex Cabagnot was pleased to have reached a career milestone, but he prefers to see his team San Miguel Beer winning more games.

Last Sunday, the SMB playmaker tallied 11 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals. This moved him past NLEX Road Warriors' Cyrus Baguio at number 10 in the PBA’s list of all-time steal leaders.

Cabagnot also tied PBA legend Philip Cezar at eighth spot in the all-time assists leaders list with 3,130 career assists.

But Cabagnot wants to help the Beermen win more games especially after the defending champion found themselves struggling in the season opening PBA Philippine Cup.

"We're 4-3 still ... I'll probably celebrate about it (milestone) later," he said in PBA.ph.

"We're still trying to get some momentum. We have a month off, our next game is on March 8. That can expedite the process of getting chemistry, consistency."

"(But) I've never imagined when I started that I'll get to this. I'm just trying to make my mom and dad proud every game."
