MANILA, Philippines -- "Welcome to the team, Emmanuel."

These were the words of UFC superstar Conor McGregor after it was announced on Wednesday morning that Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao has signed with the same agency that represents the Irish fighter, Paradigm Sports Management.

The agency, founded by Audie Attar, announced that Pacquiao had signed with them for "full service representation."

"Manny is one of the greatest boxers of all time & we look forward to working with Arnold, Ping and the rest of the team back in Manila to maximize his historic career," the agency said in a tweet.

McGregor was quick to welcome Pacquiao to their camp, tweeting:

Aside from McGregor, Paradigm Sports Management also represents several MMA fighters including Cris Cyborg, and American football players.

The move is sure to stoke more rumors of a potential showdown between the "Pacman" and "Notorious," after McGregor's successful return to the Octagon in January against Donald Cerrone.
