MANILA, Philippines – The PBA Commissioner's Office has summoned the management of the Mila's Lechon basketball team, following its humiliating 47-point defeat to Zark's Burger-Lyceum of the Philippines in the PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup.

Mila's Lechon has lost its first four games of the conference, the most recent of which was a 102-55 blowout at the hands of the Jawbreakers on Thursday.

Officials from the league's technical committee confirmed that team management, led by coach Jesse Ricardo, will meet with PBA commissioner Willie Marcial on Friday in the league office in Libis.

Questions were raised about Mila's Lechon after their fourth straight loss on Thursday, when the players seemingly showed a complete lack of effort in the second half against Zark's-Lyceum.

They were superb in the first two quarters, even leading 11-3 against the Jawbreakers and shooting 42% from the field.

However, it was a very different story after the halftime break as the Mighty Roasters showed little to no willingness to play defense, allowing the Jawbreakers to score 23 unanswered points and break the game wide-open, 67-41, in the third period.

The Mighty Roasters have lost their first four games by an average of 26.25 points.
