MANILA, Philippines – Adamson University's Thang Ponce and Trisha Genesis cannot wait for their match-up against Ateneo de Manila University in the upcoming UAAP Season 82 women's volleyball tournament.

For Genesis, she is looking forward to challenging Ateneo veteran Kat Tolentino, who helped the Lady Eagles win the women's title last season.

"Noong time ni Ate Alyssa (Valdez), 'yun din ang dream school ko," Genesis said on "The Score."

"Sa player, si Ate Kat, gusto kong malusutan," she added.

Ponce, meanwhile, is hoping that she can lead the Lady Falcons to a breakthrough victory over the Katipunan spikers.

"Never pang nanalo ang Adamson sa Ateneo," she said.

The Lady Falcons last defeated the Lady Eagles in Season 75, when a team led by Shiela Pineda overcame Ateneo despite a 35-point explosion by Valdez. Since then, Ateneo has won 14 straight matches against Adamson.

Meanwhile, rookie setter Louie Romero said she is looking forward to facing off against De La Salle University and its setter, Michelle Cobb.

"La Salle is my dream school, kaso hindi natuloy, so na-excite akong makalaban sila," she said.
