UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey recently compared her long-running saga with Cris "Cyborg" Justino to another highly anticipated fight – the boxing match between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Rousey has long been linked to a potential fight against "Cyborg," but the two fighters have yet to meet inside the Octagon – as is the case with Pacquiao and Mayweather.

"I'll deal with Cyborg when it's time to deal with her," Rousey said, as quoted by MMA Fighting. "When she comes around, and when she's tired of dragging this whole thing out."

"As you've seen with Pacquiao and Mayweather, sometimes it's a good thing to build up the anticipation," she pointed out.

Boxing fans have been anticipating a Pacquiao-Mayweather super fight for several years now, and the two camps are again engaged in negotiations although a deal has yet to be reached.

Rousey and Justino have yet to even engage in negotiations, and the two rivals are going their separate ways for now. Justino is set to fight Charmaine Tweet on February 27, while Rousey fights the next night as she defends her belt against Cat Zingano.

"I'm going to beat Cat now and I'll worry about (Justino) later," said Rousey. "I'm just really focused on Cat, and that's it."

Rousey is defending her title for the fifth time and is going for her 11th straight victory in MMA.
