MANILA, Philippines -- Ateneo de Manila University guard Aaron Black has opted not to play for the Blue Eagles in his final season of eligibility.
The veteran guard announced on Twitter that he is leaving "the school where I grew from a boy to a man with two rings and a whole lot of lessons to bring with me as I go down the hill."
Black was part of Ateneo's championship teams in Seasons 80 and 81, and averaged 2.2 points and 1.6 rebounds last year while playing just 7.6 minutes per game.
An Ateneo lifer, he thanked the school for "14 years well spent in the blue and white."
"There's definitely no question that my heart will always bleed blue," he concluded.
