MANILA, Philippines – The University of Perpetual Help Lady Altas made it four consecutive victories on Monday, after a swift triumph over Jose Rizal University (JRU) in the NCAA Season 95 women's volleyball tournament at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

The Lady Altas needed just an hour and 18 minutes to claim a 25-19, 25-20, 25-20 triumph over the Lady Bombers.

The victory gave them a 4-1 win-loss record, putting them at solo third in the league standings.

Defending champion Arellano University (5-0) and De La Salle-College of St. Benilde (4-0) are ahead of Perpetual Help.

Jhona Rosal had 15 points on 13 kills, along with 14 digs. Shyra Umandal added 10 points, while Bianca Tripoli had nine markers. The Lady Altas got 25 free points off JRU's unforced errors, and put up 40 kills.

Dolly Verzosa topscored for the Lady Bombers with 13 points, but no other JRU player reached double-digits.

It was Perpetual Help's first straight sets win of the season.

The Lady Bombers have now lost four games in a row to drop to 1-4 in the tournament.
