MANILA, Philippines – Defending champion Arellano University stayed perfect in five games after a 25-20, 25-21, 25-22 sweep of San Beda University in the NCAA Season 95 women's volleyball tournament, Monday at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

Regine Arocha led the way for the Lady Chiefs with 18 points on 13 kills, 3 aces, and 2 blocks, while also contributing 15 digs. Necole Ebuen, last season's MVP, had 12 points and 11 digs.

Ebuen shattered the game's last deadlock in the third set at 22-all with a kill. She also produced the match-clinching block of Nieza Viray to give Arellano the win after an hour and 17 minutes.

"Kailangan kong ibalik ang dating laro kasi kailangan ako ng team. Kumbaga, hindi lang si Ate Regine ang gumalaw sa team. Lahat, kailangang mag-contribute," said Ebuen after her breakout game.
