NCAA: CSB keeps EAC winless in women's volleyball

MANILA, Philippines – De La Salle-College of St. Benilde (CSB) extended its perfect start to four games after a swift victory over Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) in the NCAA Season 95 women's volleyball tournament, Thursday at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

The Lady Blazers needed just an hour and 12 minutes to complete a 25-20, 25-21, 25-17 win over the Lady Generals.

Klarisa Abriam had 16 points, all on kills, while Marites Pablo added 11 points as the Lady Blazers stayed unbeaten in the season.

The Lady Generals, meanwhile, have lost all three of their assignments so far.

Krizzia Reyes had 13 points for EAC, which managed just 29 kills to CSB's 48.

In the inaugural girls' division tournament Wednesday at the San Sebastian Gym, University of Perpetual Help bested Lyceum of the Philippines University, 25-12, 25-12, 25-15, while Arellano University overwhelmed San Sebastian College, 25-13, 25-9, 25-5.
