Gina Iniong will be returning to the cage in ONE: Fire and Fury full of inspiration at Mall of Asia Arena on January 31.

Not only she will be fighting in front of the home crowd, but she will also be motivated by the presence of her new husband, Richard Araos. Inong’s dad will also be in attendance when she battles India’s Asha Roka.

“It’s the first time that my father and my husband will see me compete in mixed martial arts and I am very, very eager to win this for them,” said Inion in an article posted on the ONE Championship website.

The last time Iniong fought in the cage was when she defeated Jihin Radzuan nearly a year ago. She then took a hiatus from MMA to train in kickboxing for the Southeast Asian Games where she won gold in the women’s 55 kilogram kick-light category.

Iniong said fans will be treated to an explosive match since both she and Roka are strikers.

“They should expect no less than a great match between two strikers and the fans will see just how much I’ve improved,” she said.
