The NBA plans to enlist team security to prevent the postgame hugs and handshakes that continue to happen between players despite the league's stricter health and safety protocols, ESPN reported Wednesday.

ESPN cited a memo it obtained that was sent to every team, reminding them of the stronger guidelines issued in recent weeks. Among those -- no high-fives, hugs or handshakes after games. Further, postgame conversations are to be kept at a minimum to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

Also, teams were reminded that players must remain on their side of the court during pregame and halftime warm-ups, per the report.

The league postponed its 16th game on Wednesday, a Memphis-Portland contest scheduled for Wednesday night.
