Stanley Pringle finally tasted winning a PBA title following Barangay Ginebra’s 2019 Governors Cup conquest.
The 2018 PBA scoring champion enjoyed the breakthrough so much that he wants another one.
"It's a blessing. I'm ready for another one," Pringle said in an article posted on the PBA website after Ginebra beat Meralco 105-93 for the series clinching win on Friday.
"Man, it's just really difficult. Top to bottom, I could see it really takes (effort from) all, from management to coaching staff, to players, to ball boys."
Pringle came into the league in 2014 when he was drafted by GlobalPort. But the Batang Pier could only reach as far the semifinals of the 2015-16 Philippine Cup.
He later transferred to Ginebra, a move seen as the “difference maker” by coach Tim Cone.
"What do you say about Stanley? He's the difference. He was the difference in this series that the one guy they had to pay attention to opened up things for Justin (Brownlee)," he said.
"Stanley and that ability to get to open court and finish through traffic, nothing quite gets the crowd going like that. And that's just a huge lift for us when he does something like that.
"He's really, really special and he took us to the next level. Stanley presence was very much felt in this five-game series," added Cone.
