MANILA, Philippines – Defending champion Arellano University targets its second victory when it takes on Mapua University in the NCAA Season 95 women's volleyball tournament, Thursday at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

The Lady Chiefs and the Lady Cardinals collide in the second match of the women's doubleheader at 2 p.m.

Jose Rizal University (JRU) and San Sebastian College face off at 12 noon in what will be their first game of the season.

Arellano was supposed to play Emilio Aguinaldo College last Monday, but the game was postponed due to Taal Volcano's eruption.

Regine Arocha will lead the way for the four-peat seeking Lady Chiefs. The veteran had 18 kills when they opened their campaign with a 27-25, 25-20, 25-20 conquest of Lyceum of the Philippines University last Friday.

The Lady Cardinals, meanwhile, are eyeing to improve upon a 1-8 campaign last season.

Dolly Verzosa will banner the Lady Bombers as they seek to improve upon their 4-5 finish last year, after a breakthrough run to the Final 4 in 2018. On the other side, Bianca Ordona will spearhead the Lady Stags.
