MANILA, Philippines – San Sebastian College guns for a third consecutive win and a share of second place when it tackles unpredictable Jose Rizal University (JRU) in the NCAA Season 94 women's volleyball tournament on Thursday at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

San Sebastian entered the holiday season on the heels of back-to-back wins over Colegio de San Juan de Letran (25-22, 25-16, 25-22) and the Emilio Aguinaldo College (25-19, 25-20, 26-24).

That improved their record to 4-1, good for a share of third place with De La Salle-College of St. Benilde.

It made up for a faulty start for San Sebastian, which struggled in five-set triumphs over Lyceum of the Philippines University and Mapua University, and was swept by Arellano University.

A win over JRU in their 12 noon match-up will allow Roger Gorayeb's team to tie San Beda University (5-1) at second place.

The Lady Bombers currently sit at No. 6 with a 3-3 win-loss record, and will need every win just to keep their Final 4 hopes alive.

Also seeing action are EAC (0-5) and Mapua (0-6), which take on each other at 2 p.m. eyeing their very first triumph.

Jostling for Final 4 berths in the men's division were EAC (3-2) and Mapua (2-3), which face off 4 p.m. and San Sebastian (2-3) and JRU (2-3), which collide at 10 a.m.
