A former seminarian, Siayngco, 62, was Regional Trial Court judge of Malolos, Bulacan from 2001 to 2011.

He took Philosophy at San Carlos Seminary, and his Masters of Philosophy at the Divine Word Seminary.

He took up Law at UP. He was admitted to the Bar in 1987 and got a grade of 75.7%.

On September 1997 or after 24 years of marriage, Siayngco filed for the declaration of its nullity on the ground of psychological incapacity on the part of his wife Juanita. The latter, on the other hand, accused Siayngco of philandering.

The Court of Appeals approved the petition. The SC later reversed the decision.
