She urged the public to check PAGASA social media accounts for more updates.</p><p>The same weather pattern of rains in the evening and early morning could prevail over the weekend.</p><p>A low pressure area being monitored by PAGASA continues to move away from the Philippine area of responsibility and will have no effect on the country.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>

<p>Expect a cloudy day with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms this Friday as the southwest monsoon continues to affect Luzon and the western section of Visayas, weather bureau PAGASA said.</p><p>PAGASA weather forecaster Ana Clauren Jordan said Ilocos Region, Zambales, and Bataan will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon.</p>
