Duterte said the decision comes while the investigation is ongoing to validate the drug test results.
"Tanggal sila. I do not know kung unsa pa gyud amoang desisyon ana karon pero siyempre, i-investigate gyud namo na. So dili lang man ang CSU. Daghan man tang ubang departments nga nagahimo ta og random drug test," Duterte said on Friday.
(They were dismissed. I don't know what our other decisions will be, but of course, we will investigate it. So it's not just the CSU. We also have many other departments that conduct random drug tests.)
Duterte said mandatory drug tests are being conducted regularly.
He also told government employees not to engage in illegal drug use as it can affect their work and service to the people.
"Dili gyud nato gina-tolerate na nga behavior nga mogamit og droga unya ang gisweldo sa imoha, gobyerno, ang tao ba. So, I think mao na ang pinakadakong sala nga imong buhaton niining kalibutana ni. Well, at least for us, kining government workers, grabeng betrayal gyud na nga ingon ana nga butang.
(We do not tolerate the behavior of people who use drugs when they receive salary from the government, from the people. So, I think that is the biggest sin one can commit in this world. Well, at least for us, these government workers, that kind of act is a serious betrayal.)
