Taiwan lawmakers scuffle in parliament

Taiwan’s main opposition Kuomintang (KMT) legislator Lu Ming-che (L) fights with ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) lawmaker Wu Ping-jui (C) during a voting in at the parliament in Taipei on Friday. Scuffles during voting in the parliament broke out as the KMT protested against Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen's nomination of Chen Chu, former secretary general of the President Office, for the chairwoman of the Control Yuan, the country’s watchdog body of other branches of government.
