An earthquake hit Japan on Saturday, the country's meteorological agency (JMA) said.
The JMA said the preliminary magnitude is at 5.7, and its seismic intensity scale at 4.
The epicenter is off Chiba prefecture with a depth of 80 kilometers.
No tsunami warning was issued.
According to the US Geological Survey, the epicenter is south-southeast of Kutsuura city in Chiba.
The USGS set the magnitude at 5.3.
