DFA: 18 more overseas Filipinos test positive for COVID-19; total now at 2,635

MANILA - Eighteen more overseas Filipino tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said Tuesday.

This brings the total of overseas infections among Filipinos to 2,635.

There is also no new fatality, with the number of deaths still at 328.

Meanwhile, the number of Filipino migrants who recovered from COVID-19 is up by 16 to 905, the DFA said.

To date, 1,402 Filipino patients are undergoing treatment for COVID-19, broken down as follows by regions: 136 in the Asia-Pacific, 457 in Europe, 539 in the Middle East and Africa, and 270 in the Americas.

In the Philippines, the COVID-19 has so far infected 14,669 people, of whom 886 died while 3,412 recovered.
