Filipina-American Jessica Cox is best known as the world’s first licensed armless pilot. Now, the 34-year old motivational speaker reveals her latest challenge: slacklining.

Cox was born without arms because of a rare birth defect, but she isn't letting that stop her.

“I’m invited all over the world to tell people about being fearless, and I chose slacklining as my next challenge. And that happens!” she said in an interview with Hawaii News Now.

After choosing not to use prosthetics since the age of 14, she’s used her feet to take on tasks such as driving, putting on contact lenses, and even becoming a certified scuba diver.

Now she’s taking on slacklining, similar to walking on a tightrope, to overcome her fear of losing contact with the ground, with a message for others to continuously face what they’re afraid of.
